This policy explains what happens to the data you submit to BulkGeoIP.com's tools, and what standard technical data is generated just by visiting the site.

IP addresses you submit for lookup

When you use the Bulk IP Lookup or single IP Lookup tools, the IP addresses you submit are sent from your browser to our server, which forwards them to our upstream IP intelligence data provider to retrieve geolocation, network, and reputation data, and returns the result to your browser. Submitted IPs are not written to a database or stored beyond the lifetime of that single request.

Rate-limit records

To prevent abuse of the lookup tools, our server keeps a small temporary record per visitor IP address and per action (lookup type), used only to count how many requests you've made in a short time window. These records expire automatically and are not linked to any profile, submitted IP list, or lookup result.

Log file uploads

The "Upload File" feature in the Bulk IP Lookup tool reads your file entirely in your browser using the File API. The file's contents are never uploaded to our server. Only the IP addresses your browser extracts from it are sent for lookup, the same as if you had pasted them directly.

Your own IP address on the IP Lookup page

The IP Lookup tool automatically detects and displays your own public IP address when the page loads, using the standard connection information your browser already sends to any website you visit. This is not stored.

Subnet Calculator

The Subnet Calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter there is sent to our server.

Standard server logs

Like most websites, our infrastructure may keep standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and browser/user-agent string) for security, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting purposes. This is separate from, and not linked to, the IP addresses you submit for lookup.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember one preference (your light/dark theme choice), which stays on your device and is never sent to our server.

Third-party resources

This site loads fonts, icons, and JavaScript libraries from third-party CDNs (Google Fonts, Cloudflare's cdnjs, jsDelivr) and is served through Cloudflare's network. When your browser loads those resources, the respective providers may receive your IP address and browser information, subject to their own privacy policies.

Analytics and advertising

This site does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site's tools evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
